This blog was created for several reasons. The first was due to some confusion that exists with some of the basic quality tools and the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data. It is my hope that some of these questions can be discussed and answered as time goes on.
Secondly, many organizations are struggling with meeting quality expectations and reducing costs. This could be due to a lack of understanding of the techniques and strategies available today and how they can benefit a small to medium size company or organization.
Third, I want to create a forum for people that have questions and provide answers that are practical and based on common sense and are not so theoretical that the average person can’t understand it. Too often the easy way out is to baffle someone with brilliance and not provide a practical solution to their problem.
